I’d love to meet your pets.
The “Meet & Greet” (initial pet sitting consultation) is conducted at no charge or obligation. It will allow us some time to get to know each other and determine if I am a good fit to care for your precious pets. Interacting with your pets is especially important. They need to approve of me, too! In addition, you may want to look over my insurance, bonding, pet first aid/CPR certificate and annual background check.
Your Pets
During the “Meet & Greet,” I will provide a contract and a veterinary release form to fill out. As you tell me about your pets and show me where everything is, I take detailed notes. I will type that up and have you verify it. You may leave your own detailed instructions for me, as well. No worries! If either of us have any questions what-so-ever, we can call or text each other.
Your Home
Every pet owner has unique requests in regards to their home. You may want trash bins moved, mail and newspapers brought in, vacuuming kitty litter, etc. There is no charge for these services.Pet sitting visits help make your home look “lived in” while you are traveling in order to deter crime. Lights and window treatments can be adjusted. Another option is for me to provide daily security checks where I would check each room and make sure window locks are secure, no obvious disturbances, no pet damages, no leaking water, etc.
Perhaps you have indoor or outdoor plants or even a garden that needs watering. (Floral gardening is one of my favorite hobbies). There may be a small fee for this, but only if there is an abundance of plants.
